That is a brilliant photo at the breakfast table! Does her ear ever stick up properly?

Bull terriers—my favourite daft dogs.

A GF's mum had one that would run flat out to the end of its lead (attached to a running wire), get stopped dead and flip bum under head. It would get up, shake it's head with a "doh" look, turn and run the other way. And do it again.

The same dog would also push its head hard against a glass patio door, then rotate its head from side to side to try to see sideways through the glass. One day, the door was open and when the dog tried to "see through" the glass it fell out the door. Again, it was completely bamboozled.

I nearly bought a bull terrier pup a few years back—one of the tan ones. It had already acquired the nickname Dozer, not because of its sleeping habits but because when it reached an obstacle, it would tip its head forward and push. And push. And push. Even against an immovable object like a stone wall.

I like dogs like that!
